Is Cellulite Surgery An Option For You?
Tuesday, 15 July 2008
By Brue Baker

Cellulite is the dreaded "cottage cheese" look that many women see at some point in their lives. Cellulite occurs more often in women as they age and their body tone tends to get more relaxed. It is a horrific sight and a frustrating feeling knowing that your body has cellulite.

What is even more frustrating is that cellulite can be difficult to get rid of. Many cellulite problems can be taken care of or drastically reduced just by following a healthy diet and exercising. However some cellulite cases are so bad that they require surgery.

Different Cellulite Surgeries

The surgeries for cellulite are invasive methods of eliminating the problem of cellulite. Some of these surgeries are less invasive than others and causes less pain for the patient.

Liposuction is the most commonly performed type of cellulite surgery. It is basically a body toning method for younger adults and should not be used for weight loss on older patients. This method involves making incisions on the cellulite areas and sucking out the fat deposits through a tube.
